the obligatory birthday pancake pic...

....since going wheat and gluten free, we've had lots of adjustments to make when it comes to our diets. I didn't get the hang of wf/gf pancakes until this week, so I went ahead and made Tucker his "7" pancake today:

Jenny,
Curious what made you go gluten free?
We tried it for maybe a whole week and w/ our family size coukdn't afford it.

the kids tested positive for wheat and gluten allergies. We've noticed a huge improvement in their health AND their behavior in only a week of going wheat and gluten free. (Also soy free). It's been a challenge to re-work all of our favorites, but it definitely is do-able and we are seeing the benefits!

I wondered as it's a popular one among the Autism world and 2 of our boys have Autism(high functioning). Gabriel had a blood test for Celiac and it was ok. We get WIC so free cheese, milk eggs, cereal etc. Gabriel had come up w/ a sorta for milk allergy and he only has it in cereal.

I am curious what kind of testing you did to find out they were allergic to Wheat/gluten? Why did you suspect it?
